Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition

Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition will be available in the market this coming March 2009 in Europe. This beautiful, elegant and limited edition car was produced to mark the end of production of the award winning sports car. Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition will still have its 2.0 liter with 9000 rmp VTEC engine. The body paint is white with matching graphite alloy wheels. The white paint was a legacy of the Honda 1964 F1 car.

The Honda S2000 white paint with matching dark metal alloy wheels and its black S2000 badge gives more definition to the nice curves of body. The interior on the other end is a touch of red leather with red coloured stitching on the gear lever gaiter. The Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition will be marked out by their unique numbered plaques on the plates, denoting their position in the series.


Aside from its superb aesthetics, the Honda S2000 was recognized of its incredible power output, where it has won the International Engine of the Year category for 1.8 to 2.2 liter engines five times in its lifetime.

The Honda S2000 Ultimate Edition will be the last version before global production of the model ceases altogether at the end of June 2009. Since the introduction of the Honda S2000 in 1999 until the end of 2008, Honda has sold 110,673 units worldwide - 19,987 of those in Europe.

Honda jumpstarts 2009 with PC dominance



Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) started the year with passenger car (PC) leadership as the most-awaited 3rd generation Honda City entered the local market last January. Data released by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) showed that Honda posted 1,278 unit sales and captured 38% of the entire PC market. Notwithstanding the impact of global economic turmoil, HCPI proved its resilience as it managed to register 22% growth in car sales.
Essential in attaining PC dominance is the City - Honda’s latest product offering. With cutting-edge styling and technologies that are geared towards creating new industry standards, the City got the nods of the local market with 719 unit sales. Such sales feat was in fact 63% higher as compared to the same period of last year. Out of the 1,278 sedans Honda sold in January, 62% are City models.
Aside from the City, Honda’s other sedan models likewise played significant role in gaining the PC crown. The Civic continued to log favorable sales with 290 units, thereby capturing 32% share of the entire compact sedan class. Celebration continued as the Jazz and Accord posted 26% and 32% growth respectively, up against December 2008 sales.
Among the vehicles available locally, three out of the top five best selling vehicles in January bore a Honda badge: City, Civic and Jazz. “We were very grateful with the market’s continued patronage and trust in Honda products. We felt even greater delight as the market embraced the City’s new styling and improved driving performance. Despite the implicated threats of economic slowdown, Honda still managed to register sales growth. The unwavering support of the market inspires us to enhance product and service excellence for ultimate customer satisfaction.” said Mr. Hiroshi Shimizu, HCPI President and General Manager.
As a whole, the start of year 2009 proved positive for Honda as it earned 102% growth in combined passenger car and commercial vehicle sales, versus the same period last year.

Toyota launches Vios XX Limited Edition



Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMPC) is set to introduce a limited edition of the locally manufactured Vios to mark its 20th Anniversary in the country. With only 800 units, the sportier Vios XX Limited Edition shall be sold from August to December 2008 only.


Since its inception in 1988, Toyota has introduced a variety of products that helped changed the local automotive landscape, constantly upgrading and enhancing its models to help customers adapt to the fast-changing times, enabling them to improve their quality of life. The Vios is one prime example of the marriage of Toyota’s innovative product technology and customer needs. Pentax K2000 Limited Edition


Pentax have announced a new limited edition camera, the white Pentax K2000 DSLR with a double zoom kit. This limited edition model is much the same as the original K2000 that was launched in September 2008, but the camera and both lenses have been finished in brilliant white with a black trim.


The Pentax K2000 Limited Edition is an entry-level DSLR, the two lenses are Pentax DA L 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL and the Pentax DA L 50-200mm F4-5.6 AL. The camera and lenses have been bundled together in this limited edition for convenience of the customer.

Reebok CL SW Canvas Mid RBC Rolland Berry


Reebok teamed up with artist/designer Rolland Berry to produce this Reebok CL SW Canvas Mid. They are currently available in New York City and Los Angeles models, and both feature an artistic view of each respected city. The NYC version features a mostly black and grey color scheme along with a city skyline constructed out of outlines of spray cans. The LA model is predominantly blue and contains images of palm trees, birds, the LA skyline, and a woman.
